We stayed 5 days at Redwood Beach Retreat. From the moment we walked in it felt like home. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook. The beds were comfortable. Very quiet retreat, yet close to town. Not far to Agate Beach, State Park, Avenue of the Giants Redwood Forest. Our dog loved the back yard. Nice fenced in property. I would definitely recommend this rental.

The overall place is lovely and location is incredibly convenient! However, it seems like there is some mold and/or mildew somewhere in the laundry room that gets into the hvac system that made my wife's inflammatory system go haywire (she's had previous mold exposure that took her years to recover from).
Note that I gave the cleanliness 2 stars nut that is not the housekeepers fault - they were great, as finding/ cleaning mold requires a professional.

If you’re looking for a place to stay near the Redwood Forest or a relaxing vacation on the coast, this is it!! This house is beautifully decorated, very clean, and extremely comfortable. The hot tub feels great. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook your own meals. The location couldn’t be better! The house is in Trinidad which has the friendliest people and wonderful restaurants. They also have a beautiful beach and their own nature trail. The location is close and convenient to the redwoods. My young adult sons and I absolutely loved the house and the town of Trinidad. We will be back and we will definitely want to stay in this house!!

This may rank as the best VRBO I have stayed in, and I am a well traveled vacation renter! This house was the owner's main residence, and it shows! House was spotless (clean), all beds are kings and SUPER comfy, fully stocked kitchen/laundry room, beautiful landscaping, and could not ask for a better location to Trinidad and the 101 for our family vacation! The hot tub was an added bonus and there were lots of instructions and guides! Loved every part of it! Thank you for letting us use your home for our summer getaway!

The house was bigger than expected, great location, fully stocked for our needs. We also accidentally left a pair of shoes there which the owner happily mailed back to us. We also had an issue issue with the plumbing while we were there and The owners had a plumber, there the same day to fix it. Great service!

We rented this house for a girl's weekend getaway. It was clean and every comfort you could want for the coast is provided for. They have instructions for everything including the wood fireplace, the kitchen had everything we needed, and there were plenty of supplies. Every room has a king bed which made sleeping arrangements easy and they were all very comfortable. The hot tub was very clean, hot, and well maintained. We got lucky and had a nice day out on the back patio just soaking up the sun. Checking in and out was really easy and we didn't need to contact management for anything during our visit. The house is extremely close to everything in Trinidad making travel convenient. We would definitely all stay here again.

This place was fantastic. The open space living/dinning/kitchen plus lots of natural wood and natural light, made my family and I feel right at home. The fireplace was also amazing. Never have I seen a fire place put out so much heat on so little wood. We wanted to take this house home with us as we fell in love with it.

We had a rainy Humboldt weekend getaway in this comfortable and beautifully decorated home. Fully stocked from spices to tea to firewood and kindling- we were extremely impressed with the attention to detail and comfort. All guests exclaimed how comfortable the beds and pillows were. The hot tub is so great for a group of teens to chat in for hours at a time- puzzles and games galore are fun for all- but the layout to me is the best because the living dining and kitchen area are one (very) big room so all of the guests feel they are together while cooking, eating and cozying up in the large L shaped couch. We will definitely stay again- this was already our second stay and it was even better the second time!

This is a very comfortable house! The kitchen had nice pans & equipment, the beds were cozy, and the hot tub was a nice antidote to the autumnal Trinidad chill. We appreciated being able to have our canine companion along. Would stay here again!

It is right off hwy 101 but tucked under the redwoods in a quiet neighborhood. We never heard the cars. We all enjoyed the hot tub, nice deck and yard. Great house! Clean, organized, comfy. It is a welcoming home after a fun day at the redwoods or the beach! Great for our family of four (baby and toddler). The backyard was perfect for our three year old to run around. Would be happy to stay here again!

This house was amazing. It was spacious, clean, modern, very comfortable and had all the amenities. It was situated beautifully in the trees. The rooms were large with comfortable beds. The nice patio, large backyard and clean hot tub were a pleasant, relaxing and peaceful sanctuary set in the trees. My wife and four kids all loved this home and have already requested that I make it our normal home to stay in for our visits to the area. We have stayed in other rentals in Trinidad and the Arcata area. This home was our favorite so far. The hosts were very friendly and always responded promptly with any questions we had. We have used other vacation home companies in the area. Trinidad Retreats was wonderful. Thank you for a great home to stay in!

We stayed here with the extended family. While it is relatively close to the freeway, we never once heard or saw it from the property. Roomy kitchen, comfortable living space. Great location from where to explore the Northern California coast and forests!

Beautiful open layout of the common areas with private bedrooms. You can be in the kitchen and enjoy the company of someone at the dining table or in the living room. Not to mention the cozy fireplace and large couch. We had 6 adults on there.
Step out the dining room onto the deck with a hot tub and outdoor shower.
The backyard is fully fenced with loads of room for activities. It was snowing when our group was there. Which made the hot tub experience even more memorable.
Our group would definitely stay here again!

The home and property were EXACTLY what I imagined it to be from the photos. I loved the quiet and every room in the home was very comfortable. The trees surrounding the house really gave a sense of seclusion and retreat from the rest of the world. A surprise for me were the games and puzzles in the closet. The skylights throughout the house really allowed for a lot of natural light which made the house very comfortable and easy to be in.
I did not try walking to the beach as it is a downhill walk all the way there... I will definitely stay here again.
