We believe in personal guest service on the Redwood Coast. That’s why our staff is available 7 days a week to assist you in having the best vacation experience as possible.  We want to ensure that your stay is comfortable and all your needs are met. We take pride in  every home carefully preparing them  and keeping them well stocked. Our housekeepers are longtime valued employees and they take a special interest in maintaining Trinidad Retreat's vacation rentals to high standards of cleanliness.  We are happy to offer concierge services for special occasions like providing flowers for birthdays, anniversaries or honeymoons.  

We offer special, thoughtful amenities for your vacation enjoyment. Here are some of the comforts and luxuries you can expect to find upon your arrival.

  • A clean and sparkling, well-detailed home.

  • Barbecues and barbecue supplies 
  • Fully stocked kitchens with cooking and dining service ware.
  • All paper and soap products provided: paper towels, toilet paper, Kleenex, fresh sponge, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, bath soap,  shampoo and conditioner.
  • Wood & kindling provided for fireplaces and woodstoves.
  • Pet waste bags provided for pet friendly homes
  • Weekly housekeeping service available for extended stays > 1 week
  • Hot tub cleaned and sanitized

Our housekeepers are longtime valued employees who take a special interest in maintaining Trinidad Retreat's vacation rentals to high quality standards of cleanliness.  After every stay we clean & sanitize each house, top to bottom.  Our staff wear gloves when disposable gloves when cleaning to wash and change all the linens, dust, vacuum & mop, sanitize the bathrooms and kitchen, sweep the deck/porch and ensure the  bbq is clean.  Our housekeeping staff also looks for any damaged or missing items as well as items left behind by guests.  All items left behind by guests go to our lost & found for 30 days.  It is up to our guests to contact us to receive these items.  After 30 days we must remove all lost and found items.  We clean & sanitize use the following products:

  • 7th Generaration, Clean Well or 409 disinfectant spray
  • Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner
  • Bar Keeper's Friend
  • Windex
  • Vinegar
  • Bona or Rejuvenate Floor Cleaner
  • Pledge

Booking Policy

When booking a home more than 14 days in advance:

  • An initial payment of 50% rent + $50 non-refundable booking fee is required. 
  • The final payment will be automatically processed 14 days prior to arrival using the credit card on file.

When booking a home less than 14  days before arrival:

  • Payment must be made in full for rent plus tax & fees.

*We take all major credit cards except American Express.

Cancellation Policy-


Should you wish to cancel a reservation, notice of cancellation MUST BE IN WRITING via email. *Cancellation policies may vary depending on the platform used to book the home, VRBO (Relaxed Policy), Airbnb (Strict Policy), TripAdvisor, etc. whose policies will prevail.

Bookings cancelled at least 14 day before arrival:  Receive a full refund minus $100 ($50 cancel & $50 non-refundable booking fee) Bookings cancelled less than 14 days to arrival: Receive a 50% refund on the nightly rent plus cleaning and damage protection fees, Bookings cancelled 7 days or less to arrival will receive NO rent refund but will be refunded the cleaning and damage protection fees only.

 We offer optional travel protection coverage at the time of booking.
