Treasure Cove truly is even more of a treasure now with new renovations inside and out. The style is modern but warm and boasts more windows for ocean views. Rinse off the sand with the outdoor shower then soak in the six person hot tub on the patio and watch sea life, fishing boats and all the ocean has to offer. Treasure Cove comfortably sleeps 6 and is great for a few couples or a family getaway. This custom, 1810 square foot, two story home located just a few houses away from downtown Trinidad has great ocean views and coastal access trails (Trail located directly in front of home leads to Trinidad Head & Beach). Relax by the fireplace and enjoy the large Smart T.V. Log on to Netflix and have fun watching your favorite shows and movies.
The three bedrooms plus two marble full bathrooms are located downstairs. Sleep to the sounds of the sea in the Main bedroom complete with slider to step out and enjoy the bay views, covered patio and hot tub. The Main bedroom has plenty of privacy w/ a King bed, T.V. and en-suite bathroom w/ shower. The 2nd bedroom also has a King bed, ocean views and direct patio access to the hot tub. This room also has a large flat-screen T.V. The third bedroom has a Queen bed. All bedrooms are very comfortable and well appointed. The second and 3rd bedroom share another beautifully marble tiled bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Upstairs is the living room, dining area, kitchen, and a conveniently located half bath. It has a very well equipped kitchen and brand new breakfast bar with everything a cook would need. The furnishings are modern, stylish and comfortable. The wood burning fireplace simply adds to the ambiance (complimentary wood supplied). You can also enjoy the upstairs expansive deck and grill on the propane barbecue while taking in the panoramic view of Trinidad Harbor.
We have provided FREE wireless internet, expanded cable T.V and a super fun finished garage complete with a ping-pong table, kids game area and bean bag chairs. Washer & dryer also located in the garage. This home is within easy walking distance of local beaches, pier, lighthouse, hiking trails, restaurants and Murphy’s Market. Please note there is not a fenced in yard but plenty of grass for the kids to play!

Accessible to beach, restaurants and trails.
Loved the convenience of grocery store.
Only negative is the heating system covers both levels and upper level is hot while lower bedroom and bath area is probably 10 degrees cooler.
This is probably it an issue in summer months.

The home was clean and well-maintained. We loved the view, the hot tub, the ping pong table and the location in town. We walked to restaurants, trails, the beach and the grocery store. The manager was able to arrange a little earlier check in time, since our flight arrived early. The cabinets do not have soft close doors, so we startled each other a few times when the cabinet doors slammed shut. This is literally the only improvement we could think of! We are in a different rental for our second week and miss some things. We appreciate the generous amount of towels and linens provided. We also now appreciate the curtains provided for light control in the bedrooms. You folks seemed to have thought of everything!

The house was clean and without odor. Very nice and amazing view. We loved being about to see ocean from bed. Only downside was the owners had lawn work scheduled for 6 hours on first full day at home, which we were unable to see ocean and was very loud. Loved the house and location. Great food around house also. Doors were hard to operate but would recommend to others.

Without a doubt, this is one of the (if not the) best vacation rentals we have ever stayed in. The ocean view is truly stunning. Well stocked and fully equipped kitchen. Good WiFi. We've stayed in many time share properties in the US and internationally and this property tops it. Perfect application of IKEA kitchen furnishings, impeccable interior and exterior craftmanship of the home, awesome ocean views, very comfortable beds, well appointed interior and decor, very well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms... I could go on and on but it would be best to experience it. Totally worth the money.

This was our first visit to Treasure Cove post-remodel. The place is beautiful! The wall of sliding glass out to the expanded deck left us speechless when we walked in. Super clean, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen - what else can I say? The location is great as well; walking distance to 2 beaches, the grocery store, and multiple restaurants. This was our first visit to Treasure Cove post-remodel. The place is beautiful! The wall of sliding glass out to the expanded deck left us speechless when we walked in. Super clean, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen - what else can I say? The location is great as well; walking distance to 2 beaches, the grocery store, and multiple restaurants. Wonderful home beautiful location easy to get to the beach redwoods. so much to do. Only complaint: The neighbors next door have a dog. It came over the first day while we were in the hot tub and barked at us from the rentals patio. The next day it came in the house through the upstairs sliding glass door and began to bark at us. Very unsettling. Neighbors were outside heard us yelling at the dog both days did nothing to get the dog home then when the dog got home the rewarded it by saying good dog. They neighbors dog on the other side was outside most of the time barking started at 630 in the moorning.

Treasure Cove is located in a great location and I am happy to hear that you enjoyed the area. I was unaware of the issue with the neighbors dog. The dog was a rescue he was only temporarily staying with the neighbor and has been re-homed. My apologies for the disturbance. We do have 24 hour on call assistance and had I known about the issue I would have contacted the neighbor right away. Next time do not hesitate to give us a call so that we can help resolve any issues that may arise.

Treasure Cove is a beautiful base from which to explore Trinidad, the Redwoods, Samoa Cookhouse , and the surrounding area.
As an added bonus, we found our newest family member – an adorable shepherd mix puppy – at Sequoia Humane Society. We hope to return to this spectacular home with our sweet girl, Luna.

We spent the weekend there with our kids to get married. The house was perfect and beautiful. And so comfortable it was like home. It was raining and cold he first two days so having the fireplace was awesome and the hot tub was so great to have to warm up. A small group of us came up for the weekend in May. The view was amazing! The house was clean and the kitchen is well stocked in terms in terms of appliances, pots/pans, etc. the beds were comfortable and I slept like a baby! The house is within walking distance to the beach which was awesome. I would definitely recommend this place to friends. The folks who manage the facility were very accommodating and understanding of our late arrival.

We spent a wonderful Thanksgiving long weekend at Treasure Cove! Our favorite part was the amazing view out the many windows! Even when we experienced some nasty weather, we were thrilled to watch it while sitting in front of the fireplace! The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to prepare our Thansgiving dinner! Sitting in the Hottub overlooking the water was wonderful! The location was centrally located to the sights we wanted to visit, such as Patrick's Point, various Redwood parks, etc. The town of Trinidad was quaint and lovely. If you plan to visit this area, you will not be disappointed with this beautiful home.

We were family of 6. The home was very welcoming with several items of fun and interest for all ages.
Everything provided in the kitchen. Grandkids where in heaven in the garage, which was very clean and has 2 cabinets full of games and toys.
Hot tub relaxing of coarse, used in the early morning after a beach hunt for shells.
Just wish there was at least one more comfy chair in living room as L shape couch kinda small for 4 adults and off and on kids joining.

We needed a little getaway. Our stay was short but sweet. The house has a great floor plan, focusing on the harbor. We were greeted by the Supermoon and clear skies. The hot tub provided a great place to enjoy the moon light. The kitchen was well equipped. The wood pile was well stocked. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud. There''s great little hikes to be had as well as groceries and restaurants within minutes. We are looking forward to our next stay.

My wife, son, daughter in law and 2 grand kids loved our time at Treasure Cove. The property is close walking distance to the beach, trail head, market and restaurants in the small charming town of Trinidad. There are great views from the house and hot tub. We loved having a fire at night and watching movies. We played ping pong in the garage and cooked in the kitchen. Everything was fabulous.

Everything about this place was perfect. The view was magnificent, the decks were perfect for visiting in the warm afternoons after sightseeing, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped. I didn't realize this when we booked, but the garage is finished out and has a ping pong table and cabinets full of toys and games, which my niece loved. The hot tub also worked great (although highly chlorinated). I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We check the chemical balance between each stay, clean and sanitize. Next time please call us and we will come check the balance for you if it feels to strong. We have remedies for that. The main reason that we stayed at this location was hot tub on the beach... The hot tub did not stay warm the 2nd night it was programmed to go onto a "sleep mode" after our first day we couldn't use it and there were no directions to post it. Also the neighbor to the left was very rude, kept staring at us, became very upset when our car alarm accidentally went off. Also there was a ton of fire wood but no kindling and it took us hours to find a tiny little hatchet. It was also a lot further away from the beach than expected. We drove to clam beach by arcana to see actual sand. I would consider coming back now that I know the run down, but the rate was too high for what we experienced our 1st trip there... Best part about our stay was the little cafe up the street.

We have a map of Trinidad in the "Welcome Binder" & brochure basket both which show you were about 2 blocks away from putting your feet in the sand at Trinidad State Beach and also equally as close to Launcher Beach by the pier and Seascape Restaurant and Indian Beach just below the Lighthouse. You never needed to get in your car to go to the beach. There are also directions for the hot tub use in the "Welcome Binder". I am so sorry you never called us to ask for help with the hot tub or to let us know kindling was needed as we would have responded with assistance right away. This was our second stay in the "Treasure Cove" home, and this time we were able to be there for a full week, including Christmas. Staying with us were our daughter,and my sister and her husband from Montana. And living nearby, in McKinleyville, were our son, his wife, and their children. This is a very comfortable home with beautiful views of the bay Harbor. All three bedrooms are downstairs, two of which have king-size beds with ocean views. One of the king-size bedrooms does not have any closets which is kind of strange but other than that they are spacious and nice. The beds were very comfortable! The house is located in town and is very convenient for walking to restaurants and stores or, you could walk down to the beach or the trailheads. I felt like the house was clean, but it is older and showing some wear. If I were to voice a complaint it would be in the kitchen where the cabinets have substantially outdated spices and other condiments that should be tossed by the managers. It also was the least clean room in the house. Having said all that, we would come back here in a heartbeat because after all the biggest draw is the beauty of Trinidad in the ocean. One more thing to note, if you really need Internet, be prepared to possibly go without. It was very hit and miss while we were there often times being completely out.

Thank you for your feedback. I will go through the kitchen cupboards. We try to keep spices and condiments available for guests but sounds like it is time to take a closer look at what can go now. We do our extra deep cleaning of cupboards, etc. in the Fall after our super busy summer season. Although we do not guarantee our WiFi we usually have very reliable internet. Due to our rural location and weather we sometimes have interrupted the service. Glad you enjoyed your stay overall and the comfort of Treasure Cove and beauty of Trinidad.

Treasure Cove was the perfect escape from the Bay Area chaos. We loved waking up and walking minutes to breakfast or the beach. Our two dogs also felt right at home and loved the walks on the beach too! The only issue was that the WiFi was temperamental and only worked 1/2 the time. It was actually a good excuse to unplug for a few days. I discovered that life goes on without being connected all the time. Treasure Cove is the perfect location, clean and well furnished. This property was fantastic! It sits a little farther back than the other houses, which protects it from the wind. The view is amazing- you can hear the bells on the boats, rocking back and forth, and the ocean. The property itself is very clean and maintained. The kitchen is VERY well equipped. This vacation home is in a great location. The photos don't do the home or view justice. The bay is much closer than the photos represent. It was so beautiful, relaxing in the morning on the deck looking out on the bay, (binoculars available), watching the fog in its mystical glory roll in, hearing the faint sound of the fog horn, the bell ringing on the buoy, the seagulls, the faint sound of waves... Two of our party still sleeping soundly due to size and layout of home. Evening sunsets from the deck amazing. Clear night (once) with incredible stars. (But i live in Chicago). Fire almost every night reading Little House In The Big Woods to 10 y/o. Explored region by day -- redwoods and beaches. Tide pools in area amazing. Lufenholtz or one near it the best. Trinadad State beach a couple minutes walk was great, good tide pools too. Very clean home (and I'm more than obsessive about cleanliness). Beautiful space, good restaurants, cafe exceptional, grocery store. Drove though Eureka and Orick and soooo glad we chose Trinidad instead. Small enough to feel the peaceful quietness, but with everything you need within walking distance, or close to it 5 min car ride. Perfect location for travelling north and south. So thankful this home exists where it is!

We enjoyed our stay there..we celebrated my birthday & our grandson turned 1 there. They view this as beautiful and enjoyed the house.
Had trouble getting in the driveway...had a minivan..everyone had to get out before we could get in it..needs more places to eat but enjoyed everything else so very much !

It's so nice to enjoy a week at the beach and have all of our family (2 cats) there with us. We have rented this house a number of times over the last 10 years and have enjoyed every stay. It's nice to be able to walk to the beach or to the market. This house also has a garage, which we especially appreciate so we don't have to load or unload our car in the rain (which has happened at other rentals). We wish the house had a garbage disposal, but we wouldn't trade the garage for that!

I fell in love with Treasure Cove! It is a beautiful house with an amazing view. I literally cried when I had to leave because I wanted to move in forever! I wish I had enough money to buy this house, seriously, I felt so at home there! There was nothing about it that wasn't perfect for my visit! Thank you so much for allowing this home to be pet friendly! I will be back and am hoping to maybe rent it for a couple of weeks to a month next visit!

This rental was great! It was very roomy with big kitchen and dining area. Fun for family meals. Beautiful view of the coast. I feel the house could easily fit up to 8 people not the 6 maximum, not sure if there is any flexibility with that. The property management staff were friendly and professional.

This was our third time renting the Treasure Cove-Great Family House and we enjoy our stay with each visit. It is conveniently located to allow the boys to go ocean fishing and the rest of the family to hike and rest on the beaches. We also love to hunt agates which has been a family tradition for over 20 years. To come back to the home with its spacious accommodations and a incredible view are a delight. That cup of coffee on the deck to start the day is almost impossible to replicate.

We enjoyed our stay. One minor problem was the rusted-shut valve on the propane tank on the grill. The other was the doggy smell in the downstairs guest bathroom.

Our children and grandchildren met us in Trinidad for a weekend of cooking, eating, fishing, going on walks and enjoying eachother's company. Treasure Cove house was comfortable and we found everything we needed. ...and our grandson's were able to bring their little dog along. Really enjoyed the square table around which we sat and ate and played "Go fish". Thank you so much for the memories!

Three couples from our hiking club shared the Treasure Cove house. Renting this comfortable house was absolutley the best way to stay in Trinidad because it had all the comforts of home--kitchen, laundry, etc.--at a very affordable cost compared to a B&B or motel.
Our group goofed about the directions to get into the house on our arrival, but Trinidad Retreats responded immediately--thank you.

We love the Treasure Cove home overlooking the harbor. The view is beautiful as well as tranquil. The house's amenities allow for relaxing and socializing with family who are scattered around the country. We eat in and find the accommodations to fit perfectly
for our large group. During the day, family members go fishing, hunting agates along the beach or just take short hikes that lead from Trinidad. (Small issue) We felt a bit uncomfortable that the garbage cans were still full when we arrived from the previous
renters. We were concerned that we couldn't get everything in the space available.

We love this property and have stayed many times. Like the upgrades to carpet. Need more work to upgrade kitchen. Also, this time phones did not work and uncollected cut brush on side of house was hazard: scraped self getting to trash cans. Otherwise,

We were a family of four adults staying in this 3-bedroom home for six days. We were so very impressed when we first arrived by the views outside the floor to ceiling sliding doors to the deck. The accommodations are spacious, the home had plenty of appliances, gadgets, linens, cutlery, etc. All necessary stores were conveniently nearby. The hosts/management were very responsive and helpful both during booking and during our stay.
