Seawood Vista - Ocean & Redwood Views w/ Hot Tub

Enjoyed all this huge home offered, beds were terrific, great bathrooms, jacuzzi clean, hot and marvelous. Large windows, ever detail was top quality. Baked my sourdough bread too! Highly recommend for views, privacy, view of the ocean. I could see a few whales spouting in the distance.

The pictures do not do this place justice. It is gorgeous and so comfortable. Sometimes when you stay at places like these, it feels bare boned and unwelcoming, but not this place! They had literally everything you could want-warm blankets, extra bedding, a fully stocked kitchen (and my husband is a chef!), games and an amazing hot tub. The views are incredible. It was such a great place to relax after all the hiking we did during the day. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

For those thinking of visiting, we highly recommend going to Fern Canyon. It was a favorite of everyone on our trip. Definitely need to wear waterproof shoes for that adventure. The Trees of Mystery was very fun and a great immersive experience for kids and adults. Both of these destinations are only a short drive north. We enjoyed stopping for a bite at the Eatery and walking down to the beach after and exploring the tide pools (not sure of the name of the beach but its just past the Eatery restaurant). We did a lot of cooking so I can't recommend other restaurants but Murphy's is a great little grocery store that had everything we needed for our trip.

The property description was accurate regarding the layout and amenities. The house had a beautiful view of the ocean and there was plenty of room for all of us. The property was close to all the site seeing we planned on doing. The redwoods were amazing. We had a wonderful time. Now what we didn't like. I booked this property because it said no animals. When we opened the front door there was a strong order of what smelled like wet dog. Which was strongest upstairs in the master suite. In the kitchen one of the trash cans had not been empty as well. NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT! The kitchen could use a large electric skillet. There wasn't anything big enough to cook breakfast for 6 people. We had to use 2 frying pans just to cook scrambled eggs and trying to make pancakes was a joke. The only reason I would not recommend this property to a fried is because the house smelled terrible>

This house lived up to all of the reviews I read about it. It was the right size for our group, was fully stocked, and the beds were very comfy. We could have used more firewood but other than that, I have nothing negative to say. Thank you for sharing this home.

Me and my friends from Louisiana and Montana stayed here for a week I. mid-October. We all felt the same about this home and location; it was certainly the best vacation home we have stayed in as a group and during solo travels. The location was perfect to go to all of the beautiful sights, hiking and exploring Patricks Point, Fern Canyon, Trillium Falls, Moonstone, Trinidad and all the gems we visited north and a little drive south to the Avenue of the Giants, Confusion Hill, and Founders Grove. A short drive to Farmers Market in Arcata, and minutes away from our Carriage Ride in Old Town Eureka and a visit to the renowned **** Taylor Craft Chocolate Boutique and Factory. To add icing to the cake we had a delicious meal down the road from the vacation house to Larrupins Cafe, it was the best filet mignon we ever had.

We stayed home the only stormy day that week. Awe at the ambiance, seeing the stormy ocean and horizon. We watched a RomCom, tools naps in our comfortable rooms, and ordered a delicious gluten free pizza from Headies Pizza in Trinidad (just a hop skip and a jump away). It was the most comfortable, convenient and well stocked place. We joked about it has everything but pepper, but sure enough there it was, three different kinds. We cooked breakfast daily and enjoyed every minute of our stay. It was more expensive than I would usually pay, but once there, it was reasonable considering the location, comfort, and special touches of home.

Want to visit the lost coast and stay in a spacious, comfortable, sparkling clean home? Look no further. My family of 6 stayed here for an entire week to explore the redwoods and north coast. The location is perfect, close to the parks and the coast. The living spaces and kitchen were awesome and fully stocked. The deck and yard were a fun place to relax and soak in amazing views after a long day on the trail. The hosts have taken care of everything you could need or want. We made some wonderful memories here and hope to return someday.

Plenty of room for the family and a quick drive north to the Redwood National park. Nice views from the back deck and a hot tub to soak in after some long hikes. We had everything we needed to cook all our meals. The fireplace was nice to keep us all warm while we gathered on the large sofa for a movie.

This house was wonderful! It felt like someone's custom home, and you felt like you were visiting a friend's getaway at the coast. Often when renting a place, there are "just enough" plates, a bare minimum of other kitchen essentials, bathroom supplies, blankets, etc. This house had EVERYTHING and more. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked, all the glassware and dishes appeared to be new - and there were NUMEROUS pieces of each- so you weren't washing dishes all the time. The bathrooms all appeared to be freshly remodeled - seriously. They were all well-thought-out, highly functional, aesthetically pleasing, and had full towel/supply cabinets. The house itself is thoughtfully designed and built, and was perfect for our family of two couples (husband and me, our grown son and partner, and another single grown son). Everybody had their own space and privacy. Plenty of room to gather as a group in the common areas, and gorgeous views of the ocean throughout the home. The deck was lovely, and protected from wind, etc. by the orientation of the home. Our kids really enjoyed the hot tub.
I really can't say enough about how nice the home was. It far exceeded our expectations in every category.

We had a wonderful time at the home and the hosts were really good to us. The proximity was great for what we wanted to do there which was to see the Redwoods and spend time at the beach. The home had everything we needed and it was great because we brought all of our food and were able to cook and clean with ease in their amazing kitchen. I stayed here with a group of girlfriends for two nights. I wish we could have stayed another two weeks!! The place was fabulous. Gorgeous views of the Pacific from the Kitchen, the master bedroom/bathroom, and even from the hot tub. We had dinner one night in downtown Trinidad and went hiking one day at Patrick's Point state park - both were a very short drive from the home. One of the highlights was the master SHOWER! Huge with one of those rain shower heads coming from the ceiling. We also used the wood stove to warm up on a chilly night. Thank you for a fantastic weekend!

We've stayed in this location last year but this year's experience was a let-down.
First of all, the neighbors were disruptive. Loud renovations and RV usages. We were attempting to grill on the deck one evening when the next door neighbor was blowing dusts everywhere that we couldn't go outside. The RV that was parked on another neighbor's house had their lights on all evening. It was not a relaxing experience.
Second, we had a power outage during our stay for an extended period of time. The manager was nice enough to deliver flashlights to hold us over the night but we found out from a restaurant that we visited that this is a frequent occurrence (winter) and that most all rentals have a back-up generator. This location did not.
Many of the food we brought were getting spoiled in the refrigerator and my husband had to get ice from a local store to keep them. We couldn't utilize the hot tub as there were no electricity and no one could take a hot shower either.

I understand that the power outage is out of control with the property management but the handling as well as not planning for it with a generator when it's a known issue in the city is frustrating.

For anyone who's staying at this location, be aware. Especially during the winter months per Trinidad locals.

The house was spotless, well organized and incredibly comfortable. There were movies, toys, a well appointed kitchen, and tips from the owners on how to use everything in the home. It was one of the cleanest homes we have ever stayed in. The kids loved the hot tub and on the days when it wasn't raining, the deck views were incredible. Short drive to stunning hikes. Owners were responsive and kind.

We stayed at a different VRBO for 2 days prior to our stay here, and we would have stayed here for the whole trip if we would have known how great the place was going to be. My husband and I both agreed that the pictures do not do this place justice. This place was such a pleasant surprise. I do not have a single negative thing to say about this property. We will definitely be back again!

We loved our stay here! Loved the decor and layout as well as the amenities (hot tub was a nice bonus) in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is well-stocked and the beds are comfortable, with room for all 7 of us! The only disappointment was there was no Seaview due to the fog! It's a little farther from Redwood than we'd like but only 2-3 miles up the road from the town of Trinidad, which is so quaint and charming. This is one of the nicest homes we've rented!
