"Trinidad Retreats is by far the best vacation rental company we have worked with in any State!"
Sea Stacks return guest August 2008
Trinidad is well-worth the drive. From the north or south, much of the way is interstate or divided highway. Coming south from Portland takes about eight hours. The trip north from San Francisco is about six hours and you'll pass through the wine country and the redwood forests. If you like exploring, you can opt for a leisurely scenic drive winding along the coast on Highway 1.
If you prefer to fly, Trinidad is only ten minutes from Eureka/Arcata Airport (ACV), serviced by three airlines. There are even daily non-stops from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento, Portland and Salt Lake City:
United /United Express (800) 864-8331
Alaska/Horizon Air (800) 547-9308
Delta (800) 221-1212
Car rental agencies at the airport are Hertz, Avis, Alamo, Budget.
